A selection of my personal favorite Freshwater aquarium Species images from recent years

Aquarium macro photography: A Nikon D850 full-frame camera is used in combination with a LAOWA 100mm f/2.8 2:1 Ultra Macro APO for most images. Lighting is controlled via an SU-800 commander, which can trigger up to four R200 slave flashes. The aperture is typically set to around f/30 to achieve maximum depth of field. ISO settings are adjusted depending on lighting conditions, up to ISO 1600. Tank photography: The same Nikon D850 setup as described above is used. In addition, a fast 35 mm f/1.4 lens from Sigma is employed.
